[It hadn't been a very pleasant surprise when she first found out, but she wasn't falling apart at the seams either. She knew that what he told her in his letter was true; they really were under the same stars. She knew she'd see him again someday. Maybe not someday soon, but someday.

Despite that, it didn't make this much better, and it didn't make it any easier to admit that he was gone. But she knew she had to be the one to do it. It wouldn't be fair to leave people guessing. The words are written in a fine, neat print, appearing slowly one after the other.]

I don't know how many people already know, but for anyone who doesn't? Jacob Black was sent back. Don't worry though...we'll see him again someday, I know it.

So let me ask you this, Lucetians. How do you really feel when people are sent back? I know this question's probably been asked to death, but humor me anyway. Please? Debate's good.

[She leaves the journal open next to her, but it's not what she's looking at. Instead, she's sitting in her bedroom at house 14, staring at the desk in her room. Sitting on said-desk are two small piles.

On the left, there's a box, several small carvings, and a simple letter. There's also a charm that looks like her original one, a star made with beads and feathers, the representation of a promise for safe returnings.

On the right, there's another box, a music box in fact. With that music box there's a hand-made card with drawings on it, along with a necklace. There's also her original lucky charm made of thalassa shells.

She's not saying anything, really. More like she's just staring at them. She soon grabs her journal again before scrawling out a few filters.]

[Filtered to Sora and Riku]

Let's go out and do something, just the three of us.

[Filtered to Axel]

I want to ask you something. No chickening out, okay?

Dear Santa,

Sora said you were real, but I think I'd like a confirmation about that. I'm not saying that Sora's lying or anything sometimes he's just really weird..., but I'm curious if you'll actually get this letter. I'm pretty sure Luceti's postal service is out of order though.

For Christmas this year, I'd like a way out of here with my friends a new adventure. Things are starting to get a little idle here. And I don't mean an adventure where we have the potential of dying, that's not really fun. Material possession-wise? I can't think of anything. Except a letter back, of course. I'll figure something out. I always do. Thanks.

Sincerely, Kairi

...well that was fun. I feel like it's been snowing forever, though. It's been nice to watch, but it's freezing.

Okay, anybody who's actually reading this? List your most creative ways to keep warm. Ready? Go.

[Filtered from Riku, Sora, and Axel.]

So...what do you get for somebody you've known for years and somebody who's kind of crazy sort of a friend but you don't know as well as your best friends? I've already got Sora's present, but Riku's really hard to shop for, apparently, and Axel I don't think even cares, but it'd be nice. Everybody else is also taken care of. I've got a little while to decide, but it'd be good to do it now.

[On the second night of the meteor showers, Kairi's got herself sitting outside the clinic on the ground, leaning against the building and just waiting. She's got friends in there she's worried about after all. Besides, it's warm enough for her to be sitting outside comfortably, maybe just a bit chilled but she's not moving anytime soon. She's got her journal open in her lap and she's doodling more than anything, mostly copying the shower she's watching outside so the paper's littered with little stars]

There are many worlds out there, but they share the same sky. One sky, one destiny.

True or false?

First Sora...now Seth too. They're all disappearing. I hope they're okay.

Axel...looks like you were half-way right.

We'll all be together again soon though, I just know it.

For now, I just have to trust that they know what they're doing and that they'll be all right. And anyway...I'm happy Sora got to go home; this isn't really a good place to be stuck. And Seth...the Malnosso better not hurt him.

Is everyone else doing all right?
