Thirty-First Shower-[Written, dated to be during Xion's battle]

[During Xion's all-out village fight, Kairi stayed behind with Sora in their apartment. Currently she's more or less keeping a vigil over the still unconcious brunette but she'll occasionally glance out the window to watch what's happening with everybody and Xion.]

Well, at least they're keeping it away from the village a bit. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be more worried about, the people fighting her, or the fact that they're trying to kill her.

I'm not even sure who's out there fighting, but knowing that Riku, Axel, and Roxas are out there definitely isn't that settling. Who knows who else is risking themselves right now?

I have no idea if the ones fighting her are going to have time to check this, but if you're reading this later? Let me know.

...well, that's just depressing. Um. Hey! What's everybody else doing? Somebody change the subject for me. ~~Please?~~

He's somebody who used to be here. Long story short, he hardly ever said anything but he was interesting anyway.

How can he be so interesting if he doesn't say anything? There wouldn't be a way to find out how he'd be interesting.

His actions said a lot about his personality.

That seems to be surprisingly common around here. That is, I assume that not all of the weapons people carry around are only for show.

Definitely not. It just makes me wonder how they can fight fast enough when their weapons probably outweigh them. I mean when I had the Keyblade it was really heavy and kind of hard to do much. I guess people just train a lot.

Key-blade? [Must be some kind of important--"key"--sword. Either that, or it's made out of keys, and that'd be just ridiculous, amirite? Either way, that's a good point.] Some people are just really strong. There's a guy I know from back home who would toss about monsters as big as he was. ...But you'd think that a sword as heavy as them would get out of control pretty easily.

It's a weapon we can use back home. Long story. [It sounds ridiculous no matter what way you look at it.] How big was he though? If he's small and they're small monsters...either way, you'd think that. I'm not sure what kind of training would make that any better.

[Fenimore has no knowledge or interest in weaponry, so she lets the subject drop.] He was pretty short, actually...for a boy, that is. I never saw him do something like throw a galf, but he did toss peepits often enough. [Which would help if Legendia's biology wasn't so messed up with creatures no one's ever heard of.] I guess...strengthening exercises would make it better, but I don't know whether it'd help enough.

[Kairi's going to pretend she knows what all of that actually means, but considering she's from a world with creatures nobody's heard of? Well. She's not too weirded out.] I'd say ask somebody who's had that kind of training, but in this place, it's hard to tell who knows what anymore.

Eh, they'd probably give a really vague answer, anyway. A lot of people here are strong, but they're not all very smart. Or I might get one who's too detailed and I'd be stuck for hours.

You can't win, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try if you ever really wanted to know something.

...Well, of course not. I'm just not that interested in fighting. [Though actually she might be inclined to give up on some things she'd be particularly curious about. ...Others she'd go too far for, though, like stalking dates.]

There are two types of people that are stuck here. The kind that are interested in fighting and training, and the kind that have to listen to them talk about it. I'd say try to be interested but that sounds a little dull, doesn't it?

Very dull. ...I mean, I guess some kinds of training can be a little interesting to watch, but none of it is interesting to listen to.

If it gets dull to listen to, ask them to give an example. If watching it is boring, sneak off while they're distracted. It's one plan.

I'll have to remember that. [...For if it ever happens, since she's kind of...complaining about something that she hasn't had happen to her yet.] But if you have a plan as good as that, I start to wonder if you've had to endure someone talking about it a lot.

[It's helpful to have a back-up plan even if it hasn't happened yet. Or something.] Not exactly that, but my best friends? They used to spar with each other all the time, so my friend Selphie and I would disappear when they weren't watching.

That's about all you can do, really. They would probably be so caught up in their sparring that they wouldn't notice, anyway.

Exactly. We'd come back and they'd still going going. They were really into it when we were younger. Just saying, that's a really good method.

It sounds to me like you didn't leave long enough if they were still going.

They're both just competitive guys. A bomb would have to drop on our island to make them stop. [Or a swarm of Heartless, same thing.
