Thirty-First Shower-[Written, dated to be during Xion's battle]

[During Xion's all-out village fight, Kairi stayed behind with Sora in their apartment. Currently she's more or less keeping a vigil over the still unconcious brunette but she'll occasionally glance out the window to watch what's happening with everybody and Xion.]

Well, at least they're keeping it away from the village a bit. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be more worried about, the people fighting her, or the fact that they're trying to kill her.

Riku, you could have told me you were going to go before you just ran off.

I'm not even sure who's out there fighting, but knowing that Riku, Axel, and Roxas are out there definitely isn't that settling. Who knows who else is risking themselves right now?

I have no idea if the ones fighting her are going to have time to check this, but if you're reading this later? Let me know.

...well, that's just depressing. Um. Hey! What's everybody else doing? Somebody change the subject for me. Please?

[Well after the battle is over, Sokka will answer. His injuries have been healed. But the battle is still fresh in his mind.]

I was there.

...Sokka. [Great, another one she actually knows.] I know you're okay, but are you okay? Like, mentally and all? [Because battle is pretty scarring.]

[Voice]

I'll... I'm gonna be fine. [He doesn't sound much like it, though. He was able to ignore it in the heat of battle, but now he can't stop wondering if Xion knew he was attacking her. And if she felt it.]

[Voice]

Good...[She pauses as she tries to think of how to word this. She's got the same thing on her mind, but most of her thoughts are centered around how Riku, Axel, and Roxas feel about attacking her. Knowing that more people that knew Xion were doing this just sucks.] Do you mind telling me what was going on out there? When you're ready, I mean.

[He's still not sure what happened. Especially what happened at the end. In the end, he decides to keep this private. Because some details... well.]

It was me, Sanji, and Riku. We were all just... pulled there. Somehow. I was out hunting at the time.

[For the best, she would have filtered it herself if he agreed and didn't filter it himself. But that's...unusual.]

Like what, just by force? You were with Riku's group? [Because that is important to her, and she's vaguely aware that Sanji's important to Xion.]

I dunno. But yes, the three of us. Suddenly we were just there. And she was... nothing like herself. She was huge. And had four arms. With swords. She didn't seem to even know who we were. She just... attacked. Relentlessly.

Like she didn't even realize who it was that she was fighting. She didn't react at all.

... yeah. Exactly like that.

Kind of a scary thought. How long did the battle go on?

[Time? He can't even think about how long it was. It seemed to be over in an instant, yet took forever.]

Maybe five minutes? Or longer? I... I can't really remember.

[Voice // Private]

It's okay, you don't have to remember everything, and I know I shouldn't be asking you so many questions, but it's kind of important to me. What happened after it was over?

[Voice // Private]

She went down. [Hard. Sanji was merciless.] I thought that was it. But then she... managed to get away. And then she got bigger and was fighting some other people. [Of which Sokka didn't see much. He was only aware that after everything, they didn't really do much but slow her down.]

[Voice // Private]

...how does she keep getting back up and getting bigger? That's what's crazy to think about.

Are Sanji and Riku okay?

[Voice // Private] /vague until log wraps up

I don't know. [He's never seen anything that's not Aku like that.]

Riku is fine. We were cut up, but Sanji had some healing magic, so...

[Voice // Private]

...I know you probably didn't have a choice, but thanks for trying. It's not easy to do this.

... I would have done it anyway. I promised I would. [Maybe not to Xion. But he did to himself.]

I think we're all hoping for that one. She'll need our support though, you know? We just have to be ready for her and ready to assure her it wasn't her fault.

I guess all that's left to do is wait. As soon as Xion's knocked out, hopefully Sora will wake up. When Sora's awake, maybe she'll come back to us faster. Maybe the rules are different for her.
