Thirty-First Shower-[Written, dated to be during Xion's battle]

[During Xion's all-out village fight, Kairi stayed behind with Sora in their apartment. Currently she's more or less keeping a vigil over the still unconcious brunette but she'll occasionally glance out the window to watch what's happening with everybody and Xion.]

Well, at least they're keeping it away from the village a bit. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be more worried about, the people fighting her, or the fact that they're trying to kill her.

I'm not even sure who's out there fighting, but knowing that Riku, Axel, and Roxas are out there definitely isn't that settling. Who knows who else is risking themselves right now?

I have no idea if the ones fighting her are going to have time to check this, but if you're reading this later? Let me know.

...well, that's just depressing. Um. Hey! What's everybody else doing? Somebody change the subject for me. ~~Please?~~

Guess so. There's only a few of us who make sense in this place.

And let me guess, you think you're one of the few.

Well, I did say 'us', so yeah.

Yesterday, I met a crossdresser from 150 years ago, a boy who wears a skirt over a ribber bodysuit, a guy with a tie wider than his shoulders, and a woman who thinks a steel bustier and booty shorts constitute full armor..

Oh, is that all?

What do you mean 'is that all'?

I mean is that all. That doesn't sound that bad.

It's still stupid and against common sense.

I've come to find that after learning one of my best friends has been traveling the galaxy with a duck and a dog fighting with a giant key and that the other best friend spent a year working alongside a mouse and in the body of somebody we thought we killed? Common sense doesn't apply to much.

... What the fuck?

That's just the bare minimum of the last two years...three if you're counting the time all of us have been in Luceti.

I think if I'm looking for common sense, I went to the wrong person.

Probably, but beyond all of that I'd say we're pretty normal. Still make sense and all when you're not talking about that.

A giant key, fighting with a duck and a dog? Body-hopping with a mouse? What about you?

After I got my heart back, I had to spend a lot of time waiting before Axel kidnapped me, then Saix did, and then Naminé helped us escape so I could find Sora and Riku and help them fight.

... Okay, try again, and this time, remember I don't actually know any of them.

Just be prepared for a long story.

Sora and Riku are my best friends. We grew up together on this set of islands, we've been friends for like, ten or eleven years. When Sora and I were fourteen and Riku was fifteen, we had a plan to build a raft and set out on an adventure. Riku wanted to leave the islands and see what was out there, and Sora and I wanted to go with him.

...we never really got that far though because a huge storm hit our island. Riku joined the dark side, I lost my heart and it got absorbed into Sora's, and Sora became the Keyblade Master. He spent a lot of time traveling with Donald and Goofy because he had to lock up the worlds and defeat all of the Heartless that were invading. He thought the journey was over when he beat Ansem, but it didn't actually turn out to be Ansem and Sora had to go out and fight all over again.

Riku on the other hand got stuck working for the darkness because he was jealous of Sora and his new friendship with Donald and Goofy. When he first got off the island the night of the storm, he ended up staying with Maleficent. She was busy lying to him and manipulating him to do her work for her. He was supposed to be the Keyblade Master, but he chose to work with Maleficient instead...his body ended up being possessed by Ansem and he fought Sora a bunch of time. After Sora defeated Ansem that wasn't really Ansem but Xehanort's Heartless, Riku and Sora had to shut the Door to Darkness, but Riku got stuck on the other side of the door so everybody got separated again. Sora continued traveling with Donald and Goofy, Riku was with the King in the Realm of Darkness, and I got stuck back on the islands.

Still with me so far?

Riku became a Sith apprentice but got better, a guy who wasn't that guy but some other 'heartless' jerk did it, and... Just to check, is that Sora the same kinda dumb guy I met here?

More or less. Eventually Riku got better, but it took a long time. After he got closed into the door with the King, he had over a year before things could finally return to normal. And...Sora's not dumb per say...[Kairi, that's not nice.] He's the typical hero type though if that's what you mean.

Gullible, then.

Sora? A little. But he's got a good sense of justice, and his heart's strong. That's how he keeps getting through it.

If you ever met him when he was actually himself, you'd understand. Trust me.

[Not that I'm sure of, I usually just check the fontbook on the computer and see what's in there]

[As far as I know, it's the computer/net settings that say if your computer can read certain fonts?]
