[She's been back from the battle for a couple of days, and even though she spent the first few resting on and off and visiting with people, Kairi's starting to grow restless.

Having a broken leg really doesn't do much for her activity.

Thankfully, Mia made it seem (and feel) as though it wouldn't take long at all to heal.

So today, Lucetians, if you were to open your journal you would probably be greeted with a bunch of stars. Stars of all shapes, sizes, colors and designs. She's currently drawing and then coloring in the outlines.]

So just how old is too old for coloring books anyway? Don't laugh, it's a real question. I'm running out of options...I mean the company I've had has been nice, but I'm not going to force them to stay here.

Let's pretend you were stuck inside your room for a while. What would you do to entertain yourself?

I've been thinking about what to do when this is over though. I think I'd like to start getting involved more, helping people. [Sora and Riku were both part of the Blue Rogues at one point. Xion wanted to become a doctor. What was she doing? What should she be doing?] I just wonder what the best way to do that would be. I guess I'll look over options later.

[And so she'll go back to drawing. Anyone who knows where House 14 is is welcome to visit her. Otherwise she'll be listening for anyone speaking to her.]

[She's sitting up in her bed today, journal in her lap and all. When Mia comes in though, she can't help but smile and wave with her free non-drawing hand.]

Hey there. That was fast.

I wasn't too far away. You look much better.

[sitting up and smiling and everything]

Have you been out of bed at all?

Thanks.

Not yet. I don't think anybody will really let me try. What do you think?

Let me take a look and I'll tell you.

[She'll go ahead and move her journal and colored pencils off to the side to give Mia better access to her leg. Luckily it's the one that's closest to the outside of the bed.] Is that good?

That's just fine.

[This time, she takes the splint off, wanting to check a few things before using any Psynergy.]

Has there been any pain?

A little, but Axel's been doing some things to keep it away. Applying heat mostly...it's actually been working really well.

It might not be as stiff, then. But tell me if you feel any pain at all while I do this.

[She doesn't expect there to be, other than some soreness. But without being able to see the bones - hadn't Rogue mentioned something like that, once? - there's only so much to tell. Gently and carefully, she will move her foot and her leg a little in different ways.]

[There's nothing really painful, maybe a few areas of tenderness but nothing too extreme. There's a patch at the front of her leg along the shin that's particularly sensitive but otherwise her reactions aren't anything to note.] It's just a little in the front that still hurts. Otherwise it's just...it feels bruised. Like it'll be healed completely in a few days.

You're right about that part. [it will be Pure Ply that she casts this time, focusing as much as she can on that sore area. It's healing well. If only everyone stayed in bed when told.

When she's done she puts the splint back on and smiles] Would you like to rest in your sitting room for a while?

...you think that'd be okay? Really?

I hope you think better of me than to think I would suggest that without meaning it.

Of course I do! I just...I'm really impressed now. You healed it that much to be able to move that far.

You still shouldn't put too much weight on it. I'm going to help you get there. ...Will your friends be willing to help you get back?

[While she wouldn't mind staying for that long of a while, she feels like she has too much to do.]

Yeah, they will. They're all pretty willing to help out. Should I just...[And she'll attempt to turn herself around so her legs are sticking out over the edge of the bed. She will figure this out.]

[Mia will help as she can, but this first part is pretty much up to Kairi.]

You'll need to stand on your good leg, and use the other one only for balance, if you need to. [She'll have a human crutch in this little experiment. It won't be too hard.]

Right. Stand on the good leg. [She'll be scooting to the edge, tentatively setting her good foot on the ground and pressing it firmly down. Okay, that part's good. Now it's just...getting up and balancing. That might be a little harder, and after a bit of effort she's actually up. She's using a side table to lean against and keeping her leg up and out, but she's up.] ...it worked.

[Forgive her for giggling just a little bit as she takes Kairi's arm, on her good side, then moves close enough for her to be able to lean on her while she walks]

You sound surprised.

[Annnd forward...march! She's going to start moving.]

Back home bones aren't usually this healed this fast.

It's the same in my home, without Psynergy. Most people do not have it, after all.

[It'll be slow, but they will get there]

[But they're making headway and that's what matters.] True...I guess I'm just really happy, that's all.

[Headway is good! And Kairi's well-rested enough not to be stumbling around.]

[Exactly. The boys and Xion made sure she didn't move at all over the last few days. Only a little further to the main room.] Maybe I can actually be walking-walking by the end of the week. What do you think?

I think it is possible. But you would need to take it very slowly, and not go too far unassisted.

[But the House 14 police seem to be on top of things like that.]

I won't! I promise, it would all be slow. The last thing I want is to undo all of your work.
