[Don't mind her, she's just grumbling to herself a little.] Vanitas is wrong. Valentine's Day is still special, even if a person doesn't have someone else to celebrate it with. It's seeing everybody else happy that makes it worth it some days. [But she's done fuming about it. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts.]

You know, I kind of miss the day-after sales on holiday candy back home. With everything being free here, it's not quite the same.

Anyway, hope everybody had a nice holiday! From the sounds of it a lot of you really are getting into the spirit of things. It's great. What was the best thing about yesterday for those of you who celebrated? I think mine was just seeing love in the air.

I think I've spoiled myself with this box of chocolates though.

...hey Aqua, are you busy? I thought maybe we could get started on that thing you and I talked about a while ago.

[And sure enough, about twenty minutes later there's a Kairi running to the item shop, glancing around. When she spots the older girl, she waves to get her attention.]

Hey, Aqua!

[Aqua has to smile to herself when that brings up the memory of Kairi waving goodbye to her when she was a little girl.]

Hey. Ready to get started?

[Kairi doesn't know what Aqua's thinking, but that doesn't stop her from approaching and stopping in front of her trainer.]

You bet! [She glances back at the items shop though.] Did we need something from here before we go? [Maybe Aqua had an errand to run. Kairi wouldn't mind waiting if that were the case.]

[She shakes her head.] No, this just seemed like the easiest place to meet up at. We'll be training in the barracks, then we'll work up to the battle dome once you're ready. [She motions for Kairi to follow her.]

[And so she follows behind Aqua, giving a glance back to the shop as they walk.]
